About Theresa
Describing her childhood as a cross between “All in the Family” and “Lord of the Dance,” Theresa taps into her crazy Irish-Catholic upbringing to develop her comedy material. For over 20 years, she has performed at comedy venues on the east coast, as well as on the Celebrity Cruise ship Galaxy. She has opened for national headliners, like Bobby Collins, and regularly performs with Philly sports radio celebrity, Joe Conklin.
In 2019 and 2021, Theresa won Emmys for her work on the PBS talk show, “Counter Culture,” with her comedy colleague, Grover Silcox.
By day, Theresa is an award-winning international speaker, corporate trainer and executive coach. She is president of High Five Performance, Inc., which serves companies and individuals throughout the globe. Theresa taught for 17 years at Temple University as part of their non-credit faculty. She is a past-president of a local club of Toastmasters International and past-president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association for Talent Development. She facilitates Meet the Author at the Pyramid Club, which is consistently listed as one of the top 10 Business Networking Associations in Philadelphia. She is a member of the National Speakers Association.
She is a graduate of Bonkers Comedy College and Bonkers Masters Comedy Workshop. She has been a featured comedy instructor at Rascals Comedy Club, Act II Playhouse, and Vince Valentine’s Comedy Collective.
In 2020 and 2021 she co-hosted two successful web-based comedy game shows, MisMatch Game and Funny Little Liars.
Theresa and her husband, Rik, live in the Philadelphia suburb of North Wales with their two feline children, Connor and Lokie
